I'm currently working on delivering the highest value ad formats to our advertisers. Here's a super high-level overview of that work so far!
ROLE: Product Design Lead
User-research-backed audio & video in-stream ad feedback, launched globally.
Developed a framework to connect client & backend teams on a product, design, & data-science level.
Ad Relevance ML Design Strategy
JUST FOR CONTEXT: Until 2023, Spotify did not have a dedicated ML team focusing on increasing ad relevance (surprising right?). In collaboration with the ML team, I drove the design strategy for feature teams to better support the ML team in signal capturing across platforms.
Designed an ideal user experience for Spotify's first first impression takeover product, estimated to help deliver $100M+
Worked actively with user research, data science, product marketing, and product to identify highest value formats to include in a takeover package

JUST SOME CONTEXT: Other platforms (YouTube, Snapchat, Twitter, etc.) offer advertisers the opportunity to purchase high-reach "takeover" products. Spotify currently has a disjointed, unscalable set of sponsorship products that need a complete refresh to be highly valuable to advertisers.
Redesigned multiple formats across mobile and desktop to mitigate cross-platform inconsistencies
